The paper aims to elucidate various research terminologies, including philosophical dimensions, assumptions, and research paradigms, which often lead to misunderstandings among researchers, students, and other research practitioners. It has been observed that there are significant challenges in comprehending and applying these concepts during the research process. This study seeks to define, explain, and clarify these research terms, illustrating their interrelations.
